Seville in May turns purple

Seville in May, alike many other Andalusian towns and cities celebrates springtime with these purple blooming Jacarandas. This beautiful tree is also in Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and California and we mustn’t forget Pretoria, South Africa known as the   « Jacaranda City ».  For those not lucky enough to live in or to visit these countries in spring or autumn, just enjoy these photos of Seville.

So delicate is this colour that it is difficult to stand out against the blue sky.
